“Burning Ben” is inspired by the character “Ben” from the South Korean movie “Burning” (버닝) a critically acclaimed South Korean psychological thriller film directed by Lee Chang-dong. It was released in 2018 and is based on the short story “Barn Burning” by Haruki Murakami. The movie revolves around the lives of three main characters: Jong-su, Hae-mi, and Ben.
